Time for an update on the English side of things.

Cheeky Frawg Books, a new e-book publisher headed by Ann & Jeff Vandermeer, will publish the English translation of my short story collection, Vem är Arvid Pekon?. The working title is Jagannath, and will (as you can see from the title) have some added content. The idea is to let it slither onto the market in early 2012. You can see Cheeky Frawg’s publishing schedule for 2011 here, along with their upcoming projects for 2012. There’s a LOT of interesting stuff in there – a translation of Leena Krohn’s Tainaron; the ODD? anthology released in October, and later on a 3-part series of Finnish weird fiction.

I should probably do something about this blog – divide it into sections for publications in Swedish and English, for one. Come up with a spiffy name and design. I’m sure it’d be good for business. This whole marketing yourself thing, I don’t know.

  1. the simplest way to “divide” the blog would be to use the built-in wordpress functionality to categorize posts; the default view would be the same, but clicking the “english” category would filter out the swedish, and clicking the svenska category link would rule out the english. and the same for any other categories you might want to invent.
